Dr. Musa Isah, MBBS

Dr. Musa is a compassionate and dedicated medical doctor whose career has been shaped by a deep commitment to service, learning, and community well-being.
His academic and clinical journey reflects a consistent pursuit of excellence, grounded in strong values and a sincere passion for improving lives through healthcare.

Dr. Musa began his early education at Government Primary School Chamo, Jigawa (Dutse), where his foundational interest in learning and discipline took root.
He later continued and completed his primary education at Kabiru Kiru Government Primary School, Gwale, Kano, further strengthening his academic base.

He commenced his Juniour secondary education at Government Secondary School Gwale Kano. And proceed his Senior secondary education at Governor's College Kano, where his passion for the sciences and personal development grew significantly.
He later completed his secondary schooling at Government Secondary School Zuba, a period that refined his academic skills and prepared him for the pursuit of medicine.

Driven by curiosity and a desire to understand the human body, he advanced to study medicine at El-Razi University, Sudan, successfully completing his MBBS (2015–2021).
Throughout his training, he developed a strong clinical knowledge base, participated in extensive medical rotations, and adopted a patient-centered approach that continues to guide his practice.

Upon returning to Nigeria, Dr. Musa sat for MDCN examination, ("An examination that certifies medical practitioners in Nigeria") and then completed his House Job at Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Nguru Yobe State, where he gained extensive hands-on experience across major clinical departments — including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology. These rotations enhanced his diagnostic accuracy, strengthened his procedural competence, and reinforced his dedication to collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare.

Following his housemanship, Dr. Musa proceeded to the NYSC programme, serving at the esteemed Gombe State Teaching Hospital.
During his service year, he actively contributed to patient care, clinical reviews, and departmental activities, further advancing his professional experience and commitment to community-focused healthcare delivery.

After completing his NYSC, Dr. Musa took on the role of Medical Officer in various healthcare settings, where he honed his skills in general practice, emergency care, and primary health services.
His roles involved direct patient management, health education, and participation in public health initiatives, all of which deepened his understanding of the healthcare challenges faced by diverse populations.

And then he sat for opthalmology residency entrance examination to further specialize in the field of eye care and surgery. and then started his residency training at Teaching Hospital Azare Bauchi in the department of Ophthalmology. Later on, Dr. Musa advanced to the position of Junior Resident Doctor, at Makkha Specialist Eye Hospital Kano Under Albasar international foundation, where he took on increased responsibilities in clinical supervision, patient care coordination, and mentoring of junior medical staff.
This role allowed him to refine his leadership skills, enhance his clinical decision-making, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the hospital setting.

Known for his calm professionalism, strong work ethic, and genuine empathy, Dr. Musa consistently demonstrates a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to patient care.
